Rich in history, Fortuna Shrine in Tottori Prefecture is dedicated to the worship of Otori Shichimaru's spirit and the Shinto deity Susa-no-o, while also honoring the local kami, including the god of prosperity, wealth and fertility. The shrine was originally built on a hill near the old capital city of Iwami in 1327 during the Muromachi period and has been renovated and expanded over the centuries.
