Spring Day Shrine, located in Omi-Hachiman city, Shiga Prefecture, is a historic Shinto shrine dedicated to the sun goddess Amaterasu and the storm god Susanoo. The shrine's main hall was built in the 7th century, during the Asuka period, making it one of Japan's oldest shrines.

歴史

The shrine was rebuilt after being destroyed by fire in 1333, during the Nanboku-chō period.
