Ishikawa

Kaienji Shrine, located in the town of Nomi, Ishikawa Prefecture, is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the god of the sea and fertility, Ryujin and Susanoo no Mikoto, as well as other kami such as Bishamon and Tsukiyomi. The shrine is famous for its beautiful gardens and traditional architecture, which reflect the cultural heritage of the Edo period.

The shrine was rebuilt in 1777 after a devastating earthquake.
