Ise Grand Shrine in Shikoku is the only branch of Ise Grand Shrine in Mie Prefecture, and is believed to be enshrined with two kami, Okami and Uzanegi no Okami. While not directly located in Tokushima Prefecture, it has connections to the region through its regional kami and historical events. The shrine was originally built during the Nara period (710-794 CE), but the current structures were rebuilt in the 17th century.
