Village Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Odawara, Kanagawa Prefecture, that dates back to the Heian period (794-1185 CE). The shrine is dedicated to Sugawara no Michiie, a notable figure from Japanese history who was known for his military prowess and diplomatic skills. In addition to Michiie, several other kami are enshrined at Village Shrine.
