直江神社

Ishikawa

Located in the town of Sonogata, Ishikawa Prefecture, the direct ancestor of a powerful samurai family, the Ueda clan, founded direct ancestral shrine. Dedicated to direct ancestor god, Hachiman, shrine is located on a hillside and has a temple at its foot. Direct ancestral shrine features a large Hie shrine and traditional Japanese architecture.
