The shrine is renowned for its vermilion torii gates, numerous fox statues (known as kitsune), and intricate wooden carvings. Visitors often offer prayers and make offerings at the shrine's many altars, which are said to be filled with sacred ema tokens bearing the names of those who have made requests.
