若八幡宮

Located in Fukuoka, Wakahachimangu Shrine is a Shinto temple dedicated to the god Hachiman, patron deity of warriors and travelers. The shrine's current structure dates back to 1908, but it was originally built during the Heian period (794-1185 CE). Visitors can explore the shrine's serene gardens and traditional Japanese architecture, featuring a vermilion torii gate. The shrine is also famous for its ' Eight-Foot Hachiman', a large bronze statue of the deity standing over eight feet tall.
