敷島内神社

Settled in the coastal town of Shikotsu, Hokkaido, Inti Shrine is dedicated to the Shinto god of the sea and storms, Inari Okappan, as well as to the local goddess, Shirahige-Okami. The shrine was originally built during the Jogan period (1864) as a place of worship for local fishermen. Over time, it has expanded its services to become a significant cultural center in Shikotsu.
