Located in Hachimantai, Aomori Prefecture, not to be confused with the well-known Hachiman Shrine in Akita Prefecture. The 'chest shoulder' shrine is believed to have been established during the Edo period. It is said to enshrine the spirits of warriors and fishermen who lost their lives at sea or on land. The shrine's architecture reflects a typical regional style, with a simple yet elegant design.
