八幡神社

The Eight-Horned Shrine, located in the town of Kaiho, Ibaraki Prefecture, is dedicated to Fujin and Raijin, the Shinto wind god and lightning god respectively, and also honors Hachiman, the patron deity of samurai. The shrine is famous for its stunning architecture featuring eight large stone pillars, said to represent the eight horns of the deer that are associated with the shrine. Visitors can admire the intricate carvings and ornate gates while strolling through the tranquil gardens.
