文化的背景

Dayo Jinsha is closely associated with the local legend of the 'God of Prosperity', who is said to have appeared in a dream to the city's founder, advising him on how to build the city. The shrine also hosts an annual festival, called the 'Hachi no Yu' (Eight Viewing), which takes place in August and features traditional music, dance, and food.

歴史

The current shrine building dates back to the Edo period (1603-1867), although it is believed that a predecessor shrine existed in the area since ancient times.
