Located in the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park,諏訪神社 is a Shinto shrine dedicated to Takemikazuchi, the storm god and kami of lightning, as well as Hozu no Okami, the deer god. The shrine's main hall was rebuilt in 1888 after being destroyed by fire. Visitors can see traditional torii gates, and the shrine's tranquil gardens offer a peaceful escape from the surrounding mountains.

To avoid getting lost on the mountain roads, consider taking the JR Chuo Main Line to Kofu station and then transferring to the Fujikyu Railway's Fujikyu Hakone line. From there, take the bus towards Hakone-Yumoto and get off at the Shokyo-Inari shrine stop.
