The Torii Gate of Kinugawa Onsen, which is believed to be the original gate of Toshogu Shrine in Nagoya, was brought to Nihonmatsu city and installed at Kamakura's Otsukaji Shinmei shrine. In 1909, a part of it was relocated to this current site and renamed Kinugawa Onsen Torii. However, its significance is now more focused on the local area, with many people visiting for its natural hot spring located near the shrine.
