Located in the city of Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture, Day Tsuki no Kami Shrine is a Shinto temple dedicated to the kami Day Tsuki no Okami, also known as Day Goddess. The shrine is famous for its unique architecture and is said to be the place where the goddess appeared to the first emperor of Japan, Jimmu Tennō. The shrine's main hall is decorated with intricate wooden carvings and features a large stone statue of the goddess.
