文化的背景

In addition to its association with rice and fertility, Nizudashi Shrine is also connected to the myth of the Japanese god of war, Hachiman. According to legend, a group of farmers prayed for protection from a bandit who was threatening their village, and Hachiman appeared in a dream to grant them safety.
