神明宮

Gunma

Located in the heart of Gunma Prefecture, Godaizaka Shrine is a sacred Shinto site dedicated to the worship of the kami, Ryujin and Fujin, as well as the local deity, Takamori no Okami. The shrine's architecture reflects the Heian period style, with a main hall and several smaller shrines. Visitors can experience traditional Japanese culture by attending the annual Shrine Festival in May, featuring taiko drum performances and traditional dances.
