The Higashi no Mino-michi, a major pilgrimage route in western Japan, passes by the Higashi no Mino-michi Shrine in Osaka. As one of the oldest shrines on the route, it is dedicated to Katsuragi Amaterasu-no-Mikoto and houses several regional kami, including Tsunegami and Fujisaki. Built in 708, the shrine's current main hall was constructed during the Heian period. Visitors can walk through the vermilion torii gate and explore the beautiful gardens, which feature traditional Japanese landscaping.
