Miyagi

Located in the prefecture of Miyagi, Mount Yoshida Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the deity of mountains and forests, known as Yamatno-Okami, with additional kami including Tsunehime and Ryujin. This shrine was originally built during the Heian period (794-1185 CE), but its current structure dates back to the Edo period (1603-1868 CE). The shrine's architecture features a traditional Japanese-style torii gate, surrounded by a beautiful forested area with hiking trails. Visitors can walk through the shrine's grounds and enjoy the scenic views of Mount Yoshida.
