Miyagi

Located in the city of Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, Shinto Shrine godaijin is dedicated to the god of fertility, prosperity, and the sea. This shrine was originally built by the local ruler as a place of worship and burial site for the ruling family members. Its name, 'godaijin', directly translates to 'Five Deities' in English.
