The Shitennō-ji稲荷神社, located in Saitama Prefecture, is one of Japan's oldest and most revered shrines dedicated to the rice goddess Inari Okami. Founded during the Nara period (710-794 CE), this shrine has been a center for worship and devotion to Inari for over 1,200 years. The shrine complex features an impressive torii gate and numerous smaller shrines, each dedicated to various aspects of Inari's powers.
