菱野区西久保の道祖神

Gunma

Located in the town of Kitaikawa, Gunma Prefecture, Hino-no-oki Shrine is dedicated to Inari Okami, the Shinto god of fertility and rice. As a major stop on the famous Nakasendo Way, the shrine was established during the Edo period (1603-1867) to honor the local kami who protected travelers and livestock.
