The Eight Great Dragons King Shrine, located in Nihonmatsu, is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the legendary dragon king Ryujin. In Japanese mythology, Ryujin is said to reside at the bottom of the ocean and is often associated with good fortune, prosperity, and strength. This shrine is one of the few in Japan that enshrines all eight great dragons of Japanese mythology. Visitors can see a large stone statue of Ryujin at the entrance of the shrine grounds.
