Yamagata

Located in the Akita Prefectural Park of Yamagata City, Sakahogi Shrine, also known as Rokuso Shrine or Six-Torii Shrine, is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the deity of the six major rivers of Japan. The shrine's unique architecture features six torii gates, one for each river, and is said to have been established during the Heian period (794-1185). Visitors can explore the beautiful gardens and traditional buildings surrounding the shrine.
