Located in the heart of Osaka, below valley (shimo-ya) Upper above valley (jō-arikawa) Shrine is a Shinto shrine that has been serving the local community since its founding. The shrine is famous for its unique architectural style and beautiful gardens. It enshrines the god of agriculture and fertility, Aramatsu no Okami, as well as the goddess of mercy and longevity, Kunitsuna no Kami.

文化的背景
The shrine is said to be connected to the mythology of the kami Aramatsu no Okami, who is believed to have been summoned by local farmers to bring fertility to their fields. The shrine also hosts an annual festival in May, known as Minkaichūmatsuri, which honors the goddess Kunitsuna no Kami.
歴史
The shrine was established in the Heian period (794-1185 CE) during the reign of Emperor Toba, making it one of the oldest shrines in Osaka.
