Kagawa

Located in the heart of Takamatsu, Iishioka-dera is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the sun goddess Amaterasu, also known as Iishiokami. The shrine's main hall features a striking vermilion roof and elegant stone lanterns. Founded during the Heian period (794-1185 CE), it has been restored and renovated several times throughout its history.
