Tochigi

Located in the city of Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture, the Eight-Horned Shrine is a renowned Shinto shrine dedicated to the god Amaterasu and the storm god Susanoo, as well as several regional kami including Fujin and Raijin. Founded in 767 AD by Prince Kanmu, this shrine has played an important role in Japanese history and culture.
