Indra Shrine in Yamagata Prefecture is dedicated to the Shinto god Indra, known for his control over storms and fertility. This shrine, located in Yuzawa, Fukushima Prefecture, was originally built during the Heian period (794-1185) but has been relocated three times due to natural disasters. The current structure dates back to 1653 and is notable for its impressive vermilion torii gate.
