和束天満宮

Located in the town of Echizen, Ando city, Shiga Prefecture, Ando Taishanshu is a historic Shinto shrine dedicated to the storm god Susanoo-no-Mikoto. The shrine's name literally translates to 'Susanoo's Heavenly Shrine'. With its architectural style influenced by the Edo period, the shrine features a wooden torii gate and a large, rectangular prayer hall with a tiled roof. Visitors can experience the tranquil atmosphere of the shrine's gardens, which are especially beautiful during cherry blossom season.
