文化的背景

Shizuka-no-Ōkami is said to be the spirit of a female samurai who was revered for her bravery and loyalty. According to legend, she appeared before Tokugawa Ieyasu during the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600, warning him of impending defeat and allowing him to change his strategic plans.

The shrine is believed to have been founded during the Sengoku period (1467-1603), although the exact date is unknown.
