Ishikawa

Located in the city of Kanazawa, Higashi Chaya District's famous 'Roku-sha-jinsha' or Six Societies Shrine is a lesser-known yet fascinating Shinto site dedicated to the worship of six primary kami: Shirota no Kami (God of Thunder), Atsuta no Okami (Great God), Kotoshi no Kami (God of the Beginning and End), Hachiman- no Kami (God of War), Suijin no Kami (God of Water), and Raijin no Kami (God of Lightning).
