文化的背景

Tsuzaki Shrine is closely associated with the legendary Minamoto no Tametomo, a samurai warrior who lived in the Edo period. According to legend, Tametomo was said to have been deeply devoted to the shrine and would often visit to pray for good fortune before going into battle.

The shrine was originally built during the Heian period (794-1185 CE), but it has undergone significant renovations and expansions over the centuries, including a major restoration in the Edo period (1603-1868 CE).
