Takeda no Ma no Michi, a famous road leading to the shrine in Omi-Hachiman city, is said to have been built by Takeda Shingen in 1572 as a pilgrimage route for the deity Taka-Ma no Kami. The shrine is dedicated to Taka-Ma no Kami and is also enshrined with Omono no Kami and Mikosima no Kami. The shrine's architecture reflects the Heian period style, while its inner structures are influenced by the Kamakura period.
