北野神社

North Garden Shrine, located in the northeastern part of Shiga Prefecture, is a historic Shinto shrine dedicated to Tamayama-no-Mikoto, a legendary samurai and a vassal of Emperor Shomu. The shrine was built during the Nara period (710-794 CE) and has been well-preserved throughout its history, featuring traditional architecture and beautiful gardens. As one of Japan's oldest shrines, North Garden Shrine is an important cultural and historical site in the region.
