Ijitai-ja Temple, located in the Osu district of Osaka, was built in 1695 to enshrine Kaito Tenjin, a Buddhist deity who was revered as a Shinto god by the locals. The temple's main hall is modeled after the famous Meiji-period architecture, but its origins can be traced back to the 17th century.
