Akagasa-hachiman Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Iwata, Shizuoka Prefecture, dedicated to the god of war and fate, Hachiman. The shrine is famous for its beautiful garden and traditional architecture. It was originally built during the Nara period, but was rebuilt in 1869 after being destroyed in an earthquake.
