Located in the city of Komatsu, Ishikawa Prefecture,佐野神社 is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the kami of rice and prosperity. The shrine's main hall is a wooden structure with a tiled roof, typical of traditional Japanese architecture. According to local legend, the shrine was established by Daimyo (feudal lord) Uesugi Kenshin in 1514 as a memorial for his son who died at the age of three.
