参拝のヒント

When visiting the shrine, it's customary to bow upon entering and departing, and to offer a prayer or make a donation at the torii gate. Bring an offering of rice cakes or sweet rice balls as a gesture of respect.

As with many Inari shrines, Rocky Nose features thousands of vermilion torii gates, believed to bring good fortune and prosperity. The shrine's grounds also host the annual Akashi Festival in October, which honors Inari Okami with music, dance, and traditional food stalls.

Established in 1587 by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, Rocky Nose Inari Shrine has been an important Shinto site for over 400 years.
