Sakurai Shrine, located in Osaka, is dedicated to the kami of the same name. The shrine's architecture and design are typical of traditional Japanese Shinto shrines from the Heian period (794-1185 CE). Its main hall features a hippon (main hall) with a shoin-zukuri style roof, which was characteristic of many Osaka shrines during this time.
