Located in the city of Fuji, Shizuoka Prefecture, Eight Horses Temple Shrine honors the god of the sea, Susanoo-no-kami, and the god of fertility, Inari Okami. The shrine is famous for its colorful red torii gates and beautiful gardens. The temple is said to have been founded during the Nara period (710-794 CE).
