Indra Shrine is a Shinto temple located in the town of Daigo, Tochigi Prefecture, and it's also one of Japan's oldest shrines, with a history dating back to 684 AD. The shrine was originally built as a memorial for the legendary prince Ō no Yasumaro, who died in battle during a campaign against the Awa tribe.
