Kasuga-taisha, a Shinto shrine located in the Kasugano Park of Osaka Prefecture, is dedicated to the sun goddess Amaterasu Omikami and is famous for its many stone lanterns that light up the grounds at night. The current main hall was built during the Heian period, while the other structures date back to the Nara period. Kasuga-taisha serves as a symbol of Osaka's history and culture.
