Nagaoka-ji Temple, located in Echizen Province, Shiga Prefecture, enshrines the god of the sea, Ryujin, as well as Benzaiten and Hachiman. The current building dates back to the 16th century, but a shrine dedicated to this area's deity is believed to have been established during the Nara period.
