Hōgankyōjinsha, or Hōgankyō, is a Shinto shrine located in the city of Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture. Founded in 1869 as a memorial to the founder of the city, Yosuke Sakamoto, it enshrines the Kami of Mt. Zao and the surrounding area. The shrine's architecture reflects the Heian period style, with a large torii gate and a rectangular main hall. Visitors can admire the shrine's beautiful garden and take in the scenic views of Mt. Zao from its grounds.
