Shiga

Ishibashi Shrine, located in Shiga Prefecture, is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the kami of stone or rock. The shrine's primary deity, Gishiden no Okami, is associated with the protection of stones and rocks. According to legend, the shrine was built at the site where a large boulder was said to have been struck by lightning, and the boulder was later moved to its current location by the shrine's founders.
