Ishibashi Shrine, located in Shiga Prefecture, is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the kami of stone or rock. According to legend, the shrine was built at the site where a large boulder was said to have been struck by lightning, and the boulder was later moved to its current location by the shrine's founders.
