Goei Chusha is a Shinto shrine located in the Shimogamo district of Kyoto, dedicated to the worship of Goei, a kami associated with fertility and prosperity. The shrine's architecture reflects traditional Japanese design, featuring a vermilion torii gate and a wooden hall. According to local legend, the shrine was built on the site where a local nobleman discovered a sacred stone with a image of Goei etched into it. The shrine is also famous for its beautiful gardens and autumn foliage.
