Enshi-ji Temple is a Shinto shrine located in Abashiri, Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan. It is one of the oldest and most sacred shrines in Hokkaido, dating back to the early Heian period (794-1185 CE). The shrine was originally built as an enshrine for the samurai lord, Enoshima Sanejiro, who played a crucial role in the establishment of the region.
