Located in the city of Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture, 鹿嶋神社 (Kamiyamada Shrine) is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the kami Kamiyamada no Okami, a water spirit associated with the nearby Soma Bay. The shrine's architecture reflects its coastal location and dates back to the Heian period. Visitors can see a unique torii gate that spans across the bay, connecting the main shrine to a smaller, offshore island.
