Located in the heart of Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, Raijinsha is a Shinto shrine dedicated to Raijin, the god of thunder. The shrine's architecture is characteristic of the Heian period, with a main hall and a five-story pagoda. According to legend, the shrine was founded by the legendary warrior Minamoto no Yoshitsune during the Genpei War.
