上島神社

Located in the picturesque town of Ichihara, Shizuoka Prefecture, above-shore (ujigami) Ishibashi Shrine is a serene Shinto temple dedicated to the god of the sea and land. Its history dates back to 1699, during the late Edo period, when it was rebuilt after an earthquake destroyed the previous structure.
